We know that walking into a new space can be intimidating. Here is what you can expect on a usual Sunday morning!
Frequently asked questions
Who can take communion?
We typically celebrate the Lord's supper on the first Sunday of each month. ALL who are seeking to trust in Jesus are invited to his table and the meal he prepares.
What should I wear?
Our pews are filled with all types! You'll see slacks, dresses, jeans, and shorts. Come as you are; we can't wait to meet you!
Do you offer childcare?
Yes! We offer childcare on Sunday mornings, but please know that children of all ages are always welcome in worship. Beginning September 13, 2026, a family worship space will be available at the front of the sanctuary on the pulpit side for families who would like a more flexible worship experience with their children.
A nursery is also available for infants through Kindergarten on Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until the end of worship. During the summer months, the nursery opens at 10:00 a.m.
Where should I go when I arrive?
Our main entrance for worship faces East 31st Street and is under a large stained glass window. Our most accessible entrance, under the portico, will take you to the front of the sanctuary. If you are looking to visit the office, the quickest entrance faces Carter Creek Parkway.
What happens in the service?
Our services include music, prayer, scripture, a brief children's message, and a sermon. You will not be put on the spot and asked to stand up. There is an offering collection, but no expectation that visitors will give. We provide church bulletins to guide you through the service and liturgy. Following worship, our pastor stands at the back of the sanctuary and would love to visit with you.
What time is worship?
Worship is at 10:45 am on Sunday mornings. Be sure to check our Facebook page for up-to-date weather or other seasonal closures.
